tRANSFER THE BLESSINGS

What are the blessings God has entrusted to you?  How will you transfer those blessings to your family and the ministries you care about when you go to heaven?

“But just as you excel in everything - in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us - see that you also excel in this grace of giving”. 2 Corinthians 8:7

Gary Vought is serving as our Planned Giving Counselor at Peace Lutheran Ministries! He is available to you to assist you in planning the assets you will leave with your family and the gifts you will leave to your favorite ministries.

His work is made possible through a partnership between Peace Lutheran and the LCMS Foundation called Transfer the Blessings. The LCMS Foundation has been providing Christian estate planning to members of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod since 1958.

What is a Gift Plan?  A Christ-centered gift plan is your plan to transfer the blessings God has provided to you in this life to your family when you are in heaven. It’s also your plan to give back to the Lord by leaving gifts to ministries like Peace Lutheran and others that may have blessed your life. A gift plan also includes important documents such as:

  • Will or Living Trust

  • Power of Attorney for your health care

  • Power of Attorney for finances

  • Health Care Directive

  • Trustee or Personal Representative

  • Minor’s Trust (if applicable)

  • Guardians (if applicable)

  • Beneficiary Designations

Learn more about the Gift Planning process at the LCMS Foundation website.

If you have questions about working with Gary to develop your Christian estate, you may contact any member of the Transfer the Blessings team at Peace or our Peace Ministries office.  They are happy to help!
