LUTHERAN WORLD MISSION - is the global Gospel outreach of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod, a confessional Lutheran church with more than 6,000 congregations and 2.6 million members in North America. Our global mission focuses on church planting and leadership development in North America and around the world.
Rev. Phillip Schielke, presently serves the Lord as a missionay to Central Asia, based in Texas. Please pray for all LCMS missionares who are traveling, to give them safety in their travels and strength in their work.
Phil’s current work
At this time, I have set up an office in our home in Lexington, TX in order to continue work on the DVD Theological training program that I had been called to work on in Almaty, Kazakhstan. I have been able to work on the video editing and to pick up where I left off when we began our furlough trip in April. It is slow and tedious work editing tapes that have been sent to me from Central Asia but all is progressing well! This project is jointly funded through LCMS World Mission and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO.
