Volunteer Opportunities
at HOPE
We are very excited to report that we continue to move forward with plans for opening our Antigo Hope Pregnancy Resource Center in late fall 2011.
Now it’s time for Hope to begin recruiting volunteers – the heart of our ministry. Training is required for peer advocates – the volunteers who will interact directly with clients. We’re pleased to announce that the training has been set for November 3rd – 5th (Thurs evening Nov 3rd from 4-8 pm; and Fri and Sat Nov 4th & 5th from 9 am–5 pm). The training will be held at Langlade Hospital. Orientation will be held the following week at the center.
Christina Wilson, Antigo Center Director, will be present for Table Talk on Sunday, Oct 16th 9:20 -10:10 a.m. in the carpeted side of the Fellowship Hall to share with you about the various volunteer positions. Please plan to join us for this time of learning about the ministry opportunities present right here in Antigo.
Quilters – We have a special opportunity available for you to reach out to others in a very practical way with the love of Jesus.
