"Tithing - A Leap of Faith"

Giving generously is not an issue of money; it is an issue of trust. God knows that perhaps the most difficult area for us to turn over to him is our finances. In the following verse, God urges his people to demonstrate their trust in him by putting him to the test through their giving:
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me now in this, 'says the Lord Almighty, 'and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.'"
(Malachi 3:10).
To help us put our trust in the Lord, we will begin a very rewarding and encouraging ministry emphasis called "Tithing: A Leap of Faith!" beginning April 14/15 at our worship services and Table Talks Bible Study on Sunday. Giving is a fruit of our faith and trust in the Lord.
